Biography
Tokyo Rails is the first EP of mine to be officially released.
While normally an EDM producer (electronic dance music), I take an unexpected trip down a different sound and feeling with this EP – a combination of chill-out, ambient, and even hip-hop that is sure to make you relaxed and introspective.
Life is inherently bittersweet – with it comes the inevitable end. I find this dichotomy, this hopeful melancholy, permeates throughout most things in life. As a result, I have to tried to implant this feeling into my music. I want you to feel that even though everything comes to an end, we should smile in the meantime. Enjoy the bittersweetness.
What some friends have to say:
"This first track makes me think of that Samurai anime with the hip hop soundtrack, Samurai Champloo. I really like it. The EP title is great, too… the second one almost sounds like video game music, very future-y. Like walking through some cyber-punk city in the evening. Awesome job, man. I'm gonna listen to it again soon." - Sam Bilheimer
"Tokyo Rails sounds like a donkey kong level, which is a compliment in my book" - Paul Murray
"Thank you dude! one of the best EPs i've listened to in a long while" - Andrew Robeson
