Zendaya is the self-titled debut album from actress and singer Zendaya, released on September 17, 2013 by Hollywood Records. She began recording for the album shortly after she signed with Hollywood Records in August of 2012. The genre on the album is rhythmic pop. Zendaya describes her sound as "pop music with an urban twist". Zendaya has been working with numerous producers and writers, and has done some writing and producing herself. The lead single, "Replay", was released on July 16, 2013, and the music video premiered on August 15, 2013 on VEVO and Disney Channel.
