Biography
There are 3 bands known with the name Zikkurat.
1) Polish Zikkurat is a pioneer in stolec-rock genre. They have established this term with their debut album, "Zikkuratolandia EP". Consisting of two members, Ghullu and Gen. Pipek, they play an energetic mix of stolec rock and punk. Nowadays, they are on hiatus and haven't released a single album or toured since 2008. There is an album in plans to come out on their 10th anniversary, but this is not yet officialy confirmed.
2) Checz Punk/alternative band. Ziggurat is one of those bands that wrote the history of the Czech alternative music and punk. Influenced by many emerging bands and finally face the selection of Prague, when he became a member William Cok, so the choice in the former exaggeration to talk about a "ziggurat B" .Zikkurat managed to combine stimuli on the street vrátivšího punk rock music with more complex procedures and arrangements.
