Biography
Zyire’s vocal-style is a unique fusion of bossa nova— a mix of Brazilian jazz tempo blended tastefully with R&B. Born in the south and reared in Brooklyn, New York, Zyire soon began singing at age six and writing songs by the age of eleven. Her exposure to the sounds of countless jazz and R&B vocalists at such a young age played a key role in shaping the artist she is today.
Zyire is committed to her music and adamant about perfection in her songs. Zyire prides herself in the ability to communicate through several different languages and songs such as Arabian Knight, Homemade Luv, and Hypnotize demonstrate her cleverness with wordplay. Fans have described her lyrics as very creative and just plain sexy.
After countless years of writing and determination, Zyire began collaborating with SkyeLab Music Group in New York City in April, 2009 to record her first track with renowned producer and engineer Arty Skye. Her first music project, a five song EP, was completed in April 2010 and is scheduled for release this year. The album will be available streaming on MySpace and for purchase on all major digital distributors such as iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon MP3, and other promotion sites.
