There are two artists on Last.fm called Ambien.
1) Ambien is an instrumental project of Charles Lee, who currently resides in Chicago, IL (www.charlesleeartist.wordpress.com). Use for the short-term treatment of insomnia, as well as brain disorders. 2) the Duke Silver of Shropshire, Ambien is the alter ego of Dominique Finnegan (http://ambien.bandcamp.com/)
3) A Fairfax, Virginia Hardcore band.
Ambien is a four piece band from Fairfax, Virginia who formed in 2018. Ambien features members of Kilgore Trout, so going on that alone, you know you're in for something truly special. Ambien play a crushing, yet hauntingly beautiful style of music that incorporates elements of post hardcore, post metal, metal, and screamo within their sound. Musically, Ambien can be loosely be compared to bands such as Amber, AmenRa, Titan, Nionde Plagan, Old Soul, and other like-minded bands. Since forming in 2018, Ambien have released a five song EP titled This House Is A Ghost in July of 2018. Visitations is the band's latest full-length LP, which was released via Tomb Tree Tapes on August 24th, 2021. On Visitations, Ambien offer up five tracks of crushing, yet hauntingly beautiful sounding post hardcore, post metal, metalcore, and screamo.
