Biography
Writer, producer, and performer of ethereal melancholia.
Working recently with both her own project the Sustain Choir, and indie-rock supergroup Black Submarine (The Verve's Nick McCabe and Simon Jones, Coldplay/Goldfrapp violinist Dav Rossi and Portishead drummer Mig Schillace), she has also co-written the soundtrack to an upcoming film and continues to write and perform her own material.
Influenced by a motley mix of early listening including pink floyd, radiohead, kate bush and the beach boys. With a love of the processes and techniques involved in recording and production, amelia has been doing this herself for years and many of the recordings you hear were done entirely at home.
