Biography
Anewhope was a melodic hardcore band founded in the fall of 2005 in Germany. In December of that year, the band released their EP, "Pretended Apologies", which sold out at live shows after just six months.
From 2005 to 2007, Anewhope played over 80 shows, including a five-day tour through Turkey and a twelve-day tour of the UK.
The band shared the stage with well-known acts such as Walls of Jericho, Born from Pain, All Shall Perish, Fear My Thoughts, Freya, From a Second Story Window, The Red Chord, Neaera, Misery Speaks, Scars of Tomorrow, Hand to Hand, Amulet, War from a Harlots Mouth, Purified in Blood, The Suicide File, and Misconduct.
In March 2008, Anewhope released a split CD, "Follow the Asphalt", together with Eatundatable, through BDR Entertainment in Germany.
From August to October 2007, Anewhope recorded and produced their full-length album, "Point of Impact", at ConeXtrax Studios. The album was mastered by Jacob Bredahl at Smart 'n' Hard Studios in Denmark. Anewhope disbanded in 2016.
