"Welcome to Hell" is the lead single from the album, Hellfire. The song tells the story of Private Tristan Bongo, a man who is at war and who is suffering from PTSD. The story is told through the perspective of Bongo’s commander who berates him for his mental struggles, calls him a coward, and eventually discharges him.
"It’s a night. Erratic men go up and down through the strip of ground in different states of inebriation; neon light illuminate cafés, while puffs of indistinct smoke waft through their open doors. The deafening howls of the motorbikes' engines are followed by a mix of languages, although all of them are confused, rough, hoarse and elusive. The starring soldier can’t handle the world he’s in."
