Biography
Chords of Orion is an ambient music project by Bill Vencil, a Virginia, USA based composer and guitarist. Bill is a founder of the erstwhile Baltimore-based prog-rock band Tetelestai. During his tenure, he forged a unique blend of ambient guitar techniques, sonics and soundscapes.
In 2013, Bill created Chords of Orion, releasing multiple albums and establishing a popular YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/chordsoforion). Bill is known for his innovative use of baritone guitars and his technical command of the EBow, creating other worldly musical textures.
