Biography
1 - DRID were a punk band from Stavanger, Norway. They released a seven inch record called "Paid in Cunt EP" in early 2000. The band claim to only have existed for three hours, the time it took them to rehearse and record the nine songs on the EP. They consisted of Steinar (vocals, also sang for Kids Like Us), Kjetil (guitar & bass, also known as Noxagt), and Jan Christian (drums, also from Noxagt). On the back cover a fourth member, Farida, is listed. Farida is Kjetil's girlfriend and weren't actually in the band, but they wrote it on the cover because they thought it would be cooler to be a four-piece, than a three-piece with one guy playing both bass and guitar.
2 - Drid is influenced by K-pop, Folk and Pop punk. Using the help of synths and technology to make music, with the additions of original vocals. Debuted in 2023, Drid is hoping to create good music and a good base for the future. Lyrics are often related to her own webcomic which gives a fantasy touch to the overall composition.
