Etc went north to mark Lunar New Year in K.L. at one of Joe Kidd's legendary 'Unclogged' shows - ably assisted by local band frontment Aidil (from Couple) and Jay (from Freelove) on drums and bass after only two hours Etc practice.
Unfortunately, the show's venue had been operating all the while without a licence. Even more unfortunately the authorities chose gig-day as the moment to move in. Just a few hours before showtime. No more Unclogged show. However, Jay or Aidil's reputation was enough to get Etc snuck on the bill for another gig the following day. It was at Modestos. Headlined by Force Vomit. This is what Etc played:
