Illusive Circus is a german prog-rock band from Radebeul near Dresden, in the east of Germany.

In 2007, the band was founded with the members Dominique P. Brinke (vocals), Erik Türke (guitar), Holger Frenzel (Synthesizers) and Bernhard Hintze (drums).
Trying to create their own progressive music, they noticed that there are a lot of possibilities to bring in different styles of music. Another aim was to bring music to life, which is located between prog-rock and prog-metal. A member to play the bass was needed too and Marco Sieber joined the band in january 2008.

The first album "lighten shadows" was created in a selfmade production in march 2008.

Another album followed in 2009. It is called "black is white" and was supported by the new bassplayer Manuel Birke, who displaced Marco Sieber.
In february 2011 the latest cd of Illusive Circus was created in the Hipgun Studios near Radeberg. "Confessions in a dream" shows the constant process of this young band to improve their own style.
