Heavy, progressive and restless, JUUR is dedicated to exploring the vivid and extraordinary. The band returned in 2020 with their second album Flux, a white knuckle ride through a fantasy of violence, monsters, blood sacrifice and death. The album won the Estonian Music Awards' best metal album of the year in 2021.
Over the last half-decade, JUUR has been working hard to establish themselves as one of the most original and unpredictable bands active in Tallinn, Estonia. The ever-evolving sound of this unit has something to offer fans of progressive rock, psychedelia and metal, as they melt heavy, catchy riffs with intelligent, ambitious songwriting.
