Biography
La Loye is Lieke Heusinkveld, a Dutch indie folk singer-songwriter based in Amsterdam (according to her Bandcamp page) or The Hague (according to her Soundcloud page), Netherlands.
La Loye appeared on the Dutch indie scene in 2019, but has remained quite enigmatic since. Only four of her gray-layered alt-folk songs were released over the course of 2020 and 2021 (brought together on the five-track to live underwater - EP in December 2021). After an extended period of silence in 2022 and 2023, a brace of new singles came out in 2024.
