Biography
There are many bands named Luft:
1. The debut record of Luft (Mats Gustafsson & Erwan Keravec) - is a two volume album of exceptional explorations within the bagpipe and reed universe - unknown music of poetic beauty and high energy cascades. Fast moving changes in texture and layers vs static repetitions and alternatives densities and melody treatments. Volumes 1 and 2 released via swedish label Omlott.
2. LARSEN UPIN : computer, farfisa, wind organ, voice, voice transformer, mellotron samples. FEDOR TERMIN : computer, rythm machine, trumpinet, surdin voice, bontempi B3 organ.
Luft has really been influenced by regional mexican music, but, quite oddly, many people continue to insist in giving this band the "french touch" label, with complete disregard to its german bandname. Luft is also involved in contemporary art issues, zum beispiel in, as the french would say, "performances".
