Much of his early musical career was spent in various garage-rock bands that, while extremely popular in local circles, received no mainstream press or recognition. Unsatisfied by these amateurish forays into a flooded genre, White fell fast in love with the glitchy, swirling soundscapes that electronica had to offer.
