Biography
Born Brendan A. White on November 1, 1990, magnesium kid is an electronic music producer native to Newcastle, Delaware. Much of his early musical career was spent in various garage-rock bands that, while extremely popular in local circles, received no mainstream press or recognition. Unsatisfied by these amateurish forays into a flooded genre, White fell fast in love with the glitchy, swirling soundscapes that electronica had to offer. His style utilizes elements of breakcore, ambient electronic, jungle, chiptunes, and trip-hop. Armed with little more then a Micro Korg, a laptop, and sizable tangle of audio cables, magnesium kid wants nothing more then to please the minds and ears of anyone willing to listen.
