mekakushe (メカクシー) is a Japanese musician. She is a singer-songwriter.
While still in high school, she wrote her first song and started singing on the piano.
Her classical-based compositional skills and pop sense have been highly acclaimed.
In April 2020, she began distributing her music via subscription.
1st Single "Hakoniwa Universe" and 2nd Single "Watashi, Fiction" were released digitally.
The third single "Paper Craft" was used as a tie-up for the Kao Laurier TV commercial (featuring Seiyasina).
In October, the EP "Umareru" was released. The collaboration with various artists such as Mao Sasagawa, Shinoda (Hitolie), and Kabanagu became a hot topic among music listeners.
One-man live performance on February 6, 2021
On February 6, 2021, he held a one-man live concert "mekakushe Studio Live "Off Line"" without an audience and live streaming.
On April 21, her first album "Hikari ni Susumitai" was released nationwide.
She was selected as the first song and cover artist for Apple Music's official playlist "acoustic cill" and Spotify's official playlist "Kira Kira Pop Japan".
