My New Mixtape is the music of Jarrett Nicolay, a founding member of the Washington DC area band Virginia Coalition. My New Mixtape’s sound is a fusion of singable melodies combined with a subtle and intriguing touch of the digital age. Bleeps and electronic experiments often coexist with acoustic guitars in a way that elevates the music beyond the typical singer songwriter fare.
