Biography
Oh Condor are a four piece band from Dayton, Oh who make an attempt to blur the line a bit between indie/emo & shoegaze/noise. Pulsing rhythms and melodic washes of delay build up and give way beneath sincere and moody vocals and the beeping and buzzing of the occasional synthesizer.
After spending nearly a decade traveling around the US, playing hundreds of shows under the name 8-bit Revival along side such indie-rock mainstays and underground legends as Enon, Jason Anderson, Trackstar, Masters of the Hemisphere, The Honor System, Southeast Engine, The Ergs, Detachment Kit, The Forms, The Life and Times, The Firebird Band, Mock Orange and City on Film, they decided to weigh the novelty of longevity against the headaches of mistaken identity. 8-bit Revival was never a nintendo band. After a few months of brainstorming, they donned the new name, Oh Condor, in the Summer of 2011.
