Biography
tHe pEneLOpe(s)are a Finnish French band is based in Paris. Their influences include 1980's post punk(Fiction/Factory/Mute/Beggars Banquet/4AD), 1990's synthetic disco, German electro-tek, as well as literature (K.Mansfield, S.De Beauvoir). They composed their first electro-pop songs in an "eternal" fascination for metronomic snares of drum machines and especially having in mind melodies with Heart and Soul.
Their concept is to play a brutal, existencial and bright music on the dancefloor.
