Biography
papa dada is a brotherhood of 3: Johno on the keys and vocals, Huby on the drums and Jude on bass. We draw our influences from other artists (Bach, Ben Folds 5 and Bacharach) but also from inanimate objects that don't begin with the letter 'b': watercoolers, pitching wedges and floss (to name a few).
A lot of our stuff is born out of spontaneous improvs (we have many gigs of recorded material on stacks of hard drives). It would take a lifetime to listen to it all again. We will eventually hire someone with ears to open up the vaults and dig out something we may have overlooked. You can apply here.
Most songs however have a story, and we hope you can identify with some of them.
