Biography

Pink luu is a German duo of singers/songwriters consisting of Cxpy ( often the first vocals in each song) and Luu (Inspiration for mascot/ artist persona and often the second vocalist to step in) . Their music is enjoyed by international listeners, using bilingual lyrics in both German and English to reach this distinct audience. Together they produce music in the scenecore genre with a blend of Hyperpop, Sigilkore, and Krushclub in the mix. Their music is often sampled from tracks made in the 2000's such as "Last Friday night" by Katy Perry and "Pretty rave girl" by s3rl to achieve the scene feel. They often collaborate with other scenecore/new scene artists in their community such as Syris, Lytra, Nami, Cy4ne, xofilo, WASTY, Asteria, Kets4eki, d3r, and Offaflat.

Pink luu's collaboration with Asteria featuring Kets4eki on "Something's not okay" put the duo in the spotlight, reaching 215k recorded listens on Spotify. Second is their feature on Cy4ne's song "Es tut mir leid" taking up most of the mid vocals in said song. Both parts of the duo create their own music as well as produce for Pink luu.

Their main artist persona "Pink luu" has a backstory of his own. Described as a 'Schizophrenic character split in two personalities" Pink luu is a split of both the singers sharing one vessel. Luu is the left half of the face, represented by a green eye. While Cxpy is the right half of the face, represented by a brown eye. This was disclosed via Instagram post.
Pink luu is often seen wearing Hello Kitty merchandise and studded belts whilst dressed in all-black emo fashion. He is always wearing a black face mask that covers most of his face only up to his eyes, making it only known which personality he is by his elusive uncovered eye.
