ry-om: autonomous electro-acoustic soundscape co-operative
ry-om are a London-based two-piece using laptops, guitars, feedback loops, synths, instrumental samples and vocals, they create electronic noise and acoustic soundscapes. All music is improvised and performed live without sequencing, and varies from pulses to irregular rhythms, tonality to dissonance, digital glitches to acoustic instruments, and rich, reverb-drenched textures to austere, upfront bleeps. The result is somewhere between electronica, noise and electroacoustic music.
