Biography
Shannon Hudson started playing songs on the family piano while growing up in the midwest, and wound up in Southern California for ten years during his young adulthood, where he formed the Alt-Country Band COME AND GO with his brother, Shane, in the late 90’s.
They started off playing the local dive bars, grew a following, and then went on to play the big clubs in L.A. like the Whisky, the Troubadour, and the El Rey. After a lot of self-produced low-fi demos and so-called albums, COME AND GO signed a record deal with Purify Records and released ‘SHINEBOX’ in 2005, which set them off touring the country, and landing songs in TV and Film here and there.
After touring with the band, and as a solo act, Shannon ended up in Fort Worth with his family. He started playing The Sad Bastard Show with some local singer/songwriter friends, produced a couple of demos, and wrote a lot of songs at the time. He moved to Austin, TX in 2007, and is finishing up a solo album entitled "Faith and Proof."
