Biography
Tai Andrews writes simple songs about complex things: love, family, home and life. Although music is a theme that runs in Tai Andrews family he did not learn to play piano and write songs until he stumbled upon the music room at school at the age of 14. Since then he has written songs which reflect his feelings, experiences and desires.
Given his first Yamaha Keyboard at the age of 14, which he still has, Tai Andrews would Practise for hours and hours learning how to create good melody.
Having been a DJ for several years Tai Andrews used the same approach of "I play what I like and feel" to his songwriting which have led to songs which are simply there to entertain.
His Debut release "You Don't Know" was written as a self therapy tool after experiencing the not so happy side of relationships and is a perfect example of writing from the heart. A beat driven song that gives us the house driven beat alongside the piercing synth, soulful lyrics and funky bass.
Future releases from his debut album are guaranteed to demonstrate Tai Andrews ability to use different genres to illustrate various themes and give an insight into what is truly in his mind and heart.
