Biography
In 2003 the Mellow Band (formly known as "the Rain") released their first recording, a four track demo, named "hello my queen". The songs were written on parkbenches, porches and in basements and were inspired by beatles, oasis, and Canada. Though the high ambitions the demo didn't become the expected huge succees; but the band earned enough money to throw a great release-party.
In 2004 the started to work with a new project called "Projektarbete 100p". The plan was to record three songs in only two days and release the recording "to the closest mourners". The songs to be recorded where decide on the bus to the studio, which truly annoyed the other passengers. Finally when the long days were over the Mellow band had only finished two songs, but the third song is said to exist on an bootleg adat-tape somewhere in Uppsala.
Despite they unfinshed song they proudly presented their project, now renamed to "Don't Forget & Solution". Characterized by higher quality and more expressive music, they were feeling that they where on the right way.
However that were the last that we heard form mellow band, in late 2004 the split-up for good because of communication problems.
It's though rumored that during the summer 2006 three of the members, despite the old quarrel, reunioned and recorded a singel day track, for old times sake.
The band consisted of:
Lovisa Ahnlund (piano), Staffan Dahlén (lead guitar), Karl Eriksson (rythm guitar), Axel Lindblom (vocals).
