Just heard the 2012 e.p. Glad to see that he's finally singing in Japanese. So much better.

detoxification has 2 songs: the sun and snow lady. They're pretty good, but not so cool than Scent of August songs. I did'nt listen the 2010 ep, intoxication, if someone knows where i can find it, i will appreciate.

I can remember I saw the band apart when they were on their first US tour in 2007. My friend wanted me to go see some shitty local band that's pretty popular and somehow that band had the band apart open for them. They blew me away and I actually got their setlist, it was actually Nandoss down there too who hooked me up with alfred and cavity. A fantastic record. I don't think the fall of 2007 could've been dominated by any other record like that one was. This new record is a great reminder of what I loved so much from them, even though they are still a little hard to listen to since they take me back to better times in my life. Scent of August is super enjoyable though!

wu-san - I agree with you about the lead's vocal abilities... not so great at speaking English. However, his enunciation has actually gotten better in the new albums. And yes, the rhythmic changes are great partly because their drummer is really talented. deadbydevil - Correct your tags like in the description. The deathmetal band is at http://www.last.fm/music/+noredirect/TheBandAparT.

Japanese band for me. Never been convinced of the lead's ability to deliver good English, but the music has a good energy and there's plenty of great rhythmic changes - at least with their older material. I like the rough what-you-hear-is-what-you-get production on all their records but wouldn't mind a beefed up reproduction of 'alfred and cavity'.
