Biography
The doyouinverts are a synergistic gestalt collective, formed in the swirling dust and matter of Milnathort in Scotland, UK in 2007 and now based in La Chapelle du Bois in France (just North of Le Mans). Spotting a niche for badly written songs which might appeal to your average, socially constrained videogame enthusiast, the band took it upon themselves to not only fill this niche, but ram themselves into it at tremendous speed.
But as with every bid for fame, they could not scream alone into the void. To slay the fame beast they needed a sword. Which is why popular UK podcast One Life Left was selected as the glittering length of shining steel to take their message of geekism to the masses. Since the start of Season 3 the doyouinverts have been a popular feature on the show (they have, at the last count, 6 fans and could if required have a really competitive game of petanque). Praise for their contribution to the show has quite literally been a couple of posts on games forums saying they thought the lyrics were mildly amusing, but the singing was awful.
With growing fame and an increasing clamour from their extensive fan base (of 6) the time came to meet the public demand for a single place to go for all things doyouinverts related. Hence thedoyouinverts.blogspot.com.
Updates with new songs, news about the band, and news about home-printed-and-liable-to-run-in-a-40-degree-wash merchandise are posted as and when.
