Biography
Somewhat of an indie rock supergroup, the Pilot Ships are made up of Stars of the Lid member Brian McBride, Monroe Mustang members Chris and Mike Linnen, and Cheree Jetten, a member of Bees are Black and the Angels. Based between Chicago and Austin, the Pilot Ships’ debut album, There Should Be an Entry Here, was released in 1997 on At a Glance records. The like-minded follow-up, The Limits of Painting and Poetry, was released in late 2000 on the Bluesanct label.
