Biography
The Real Audio Players is founded early 2008 when Marlen Davers (SKIK), Maarten Righarts (SubgenX, You Go) and Bernard Gepken (The Arthur Spooners, You Go) join forces to rise from the glowing ashes of former project Pablo.
A year earlier Marlen, 2007, Marlen trades the drumkit for a piano and starts writing songs. These songs appear to be fresh popsongs with an punky hook to them, all telling some heartfelt story. For a while Marlen is searching for the right people to tell his stories the way he wants. Eventually completing the line-up with Maarten and Bernard, like Marlen both playing different instruments than they usually do in their bands.
