ABOUT
theholysmoke left a high water mark on the banks of the rivers of life in the early 00s. Mostly a Christian act, the trio made nu-folk music with a smile.
BAND
the band featured sLim Pickins (guitar & vox), Ezekiel Fats (drum & vox) and The Colonel (bass & definitely not allowed to vox).
HISTORY
theholysmoke released their only album "steaks are high" in 2001. It was a self-financed demo, recorded in Pickins' uncle's spare room in Ashfield, Sydney, Australia. After playing a few gigs and shifting some units to recover costs, sLim Pickins moved overseas. The band could not reconcile their geographical differences and pulled the plug in 2002.
