Biography
Trailer Camp consists of four twenty-something year olds. One hates staying up past midnight. Another barely eats. Neither of them shower very much. They play music because it is both fun and exciting. Performing live is their enigmatic forte, bursting forth loud, raw energy to anyone nice enough to watch them. Their music is dynamic and all over the place. In the span of 15 seconds you will hear influences from other sides of the musical spectrum, condensed and neatly packaged into something absorbant and tangible. They have written a vast collection of songs in their four years of playing together, most of them being released over the course of two demos, two full-lengths, a tour ep and a split 7”. Since their inaugural show at the Upstairs in December 2002, their show count has undeniably past the 200 mark; performing everywhere in the St. John’s area and across Newfoundland as well as playing numerous dates up to and including Peterborough, Ontario. Recently, they released a split 7” vinyl record with their summer 2005 tourmates The Black Bags, played a showcase at Junofest 2006 in Halifax and underwent the first lineup change since February 2003. They currently have plans to release another full-length by early next summer and to tour in support of said release all next summer.
