after giving more spins it's not that bad tbh. I metabolized and looked into the tracks and even though some songs i still find musically not exciting, the vocal arrangements still enhance the songs and make them valid. The only song besides the intro and outro that i really don't like is "more" as of now

damn.. new album and still can't top hazy paradise.. i was so pumped this time and was pretty sure this would be a new masterpiece but... velvet is fantastic though.. the singles are pretty good too.. the rest of the album idk... lots of filler, bland and slow songs.. will not definitely buy vinyl especially with those outrageous prices with vat and shipping rates going on. This album might be her best work vocally speaking but, again, musically, the album sounds bland to me. Will listen to it more this is just first impressions ngl

wow i'm so disappointed by lucid dreams.. not my cup of tea unfortunately.. thank god bandcamp exists.. i saved my money.. i'll stick with hazy paradise. Lucid dreams is advertised as a "continuation" of hazy paradise but to me it definitely isn't.. that single, runaway, fooled me there.. It's basically the only track that i liked. Bummer

I've listened to that ep and you know what? They sound pretty good. I'm not against commercial songs. I wouldn't be listening to synthwave otherwise.. These ones sound pretty good and fun.. I didn't find the same freshness on yota's album unfortunately.
