After a two-year prolonged battle with COVID-19, a battle that resulted in our fall two times in a row – we are back!
As all COVID restrictions in Poland have been lifted, we can say with absolute certainty that the festival will take place without any obstacles.

Exciter – the pioneers of speed metal will play two special shows at our special invitation.
On the first day of the festival Exciter will play an oldschool set and exclude tracks from their first album; on the second day - at our special request - they will present "Heavy Metal Maniac" in its entirety. The festival will take place in the same form and place as the two previous editions - a two day open air fest at the stronghold in Byczyna on june 10th & 11th 2022.
We also stay true to our original concept - to create an underground metal festival uniting the top acts of the oldschool and extreme metal, all the while trying to maintain Poland's one of a kind meeting ground for real MANIACS.

1. The camping area near the festival ground is free – it is located in the woods so you can be sure it is shaded properly. You can enter the camping site with a motorcycle or a small car.
2. There’s a parking lot for 500 cars near the festival area. It is not guarded but free of charge.
3. There will be plenty of portable toilets at the festival grounds.
4. Hot water shower will be available at the festival grounds.
5. The security will be provided by a professional security agency.
6. There will be a medical patrol at the festival grounds.
7. The festiwal grounds will include a food court area.
8. You can buy beer at the festival grounds.
9. Card payment is not possible at the festival grounds, only cash (PLN).There’s also no ATM at the festival area.
10. The security at the entrance will check for possession of any glass bottles etc, they will also check your festival pass.
11. Tickets purchased for the 2020/2021 edition remain valid.
Arrival and Accomodation.
The nearest railway station with fast connections is in Byczyna Kluczborska, next one is in Kluczbork. There are a lot of trains stopping in Byczyna Kluczborska and Kluczbork - there is a direct connection from many cities (e.g. Poznań, Katowice, Kraków, Wrocław); from most other larger cities, however, there is a connection with only one transfer (e.g. Gdańsk, Warsaw or Łódź).
You can check connections on https://www.pkp.pl/en/ - check both Byczyna Kluczborska and Kluczbork connections, because some trains (e.g. direct one from Wrocław) only go to Kluczbork.
There will be a festival shuttle bus operated by external company (TAXI BUS BYCZYNA) that will take you to the festival area from both Byczyna Kluczborska and Kluczbork for a small charge (e.g. from Byczyna 12 PLN).
If you already know when you will arrive in Byczyna Kluczborska (or Kluczbork) it is of course better to make an appointment in advance.
