Alexander James McLean (A.J) (ur. 9 stycznia 1978 roku w West Palm Beach) – członek amerykańskiego boysbandu Backstreet Boys.

McLean Alexander James (A.J.) (DOB 9 January 1978 in West of Beach Palms) - member American boysbandu Backstreet Boys.
Germany, Englishmen, Cubans and Scotsmen were his ancestors. His parents, Bob and Denise (from d. Fernandez) Mclean, they got divorced, when was four; the father left behind the mother and it is she took his more distant education up with his grandfathers. For the sixth year of age he made some more, speaking at fashion shows. During one of such displays a director of the children’s art discovered it „Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. McLeana talent was appreciated - played next parts at the theatre of Bocarton on South Florida. For five years he practised the dance.
At the age of twelve he moved with the family to Orlando and took lessons of the acting for four years. He was fourteen years old, when during the young talent show got to know Howiego Dorougha and started taking the same singing lessons. During next interrogations they got to know Nick Carter and decided to establish the team.
Since when the Backstreet Boys career began, A.J. left the secondary school and started taking private lessons. His teacher - Kim, studied with him en route.
He met with Amanda Latona from the Innosense team.
In 17 December 2011 married its partner Rochelle Karidis, whereas 27 November 2012 their daughter was born Ava Jaymes
