Roskilde Festival 2020 will be the 50th edition of Roskilde Festival. There's already plenty of reason to look forward to next summer, and things just got even more exciting.
American icon Taylor Swift is the first artist announced for RF50. It will be her first ever show in Denmark. She will play Orange Stage on Wednesday 1 July 2020.
Bangers and ballads
Taylor Swift recently released her acclaimed new album Lover, charting at number 1 all over the world. Only weeks old, it has already been heralded as a mature, personal achievement in which Swift combines danceable pop gems and revelatory, vulnerable ballads.
The 29-year-old star describes the album as a celebration of love in all its complexity, warmth and chaos, and with songs such as You Need to Calm Down and The Man she shows how to stand up for social and political rights, not only for herself but for others in need.
Since her self-titled debut album in 2006, Swift has conquered audiences with both her recordings and her powerful live performances, mastering everything from intimate moments to overwhelming pop bangers.
