I’m not goth at all but when I listen to coldwave bands I am being more goth than 90% of the ppl claiming to be goth nowadays, since being “goth” these days means listening to Lil Peep hahaha

If you wanna discover nice coldwave, listen to Infrastition Records compilations : Transmission (three releases - you can find them on their website or amazon, priceminister, ...) and the release of B9 (Belgian coldwave) and Cold Waves & Minimal Electronics Vol 1 (though it is more minimal wave than coldwave)...

At least both coldwaves have one thing in common: Black and White top photos :)

@carinaclysmic: yeah, almost :) or, "french/belgian synthy post-punk as made by people who quite probably huge Cure & Chameleons fans"... ;) some is quite gothy, but a fair bit of it also tends more towards a minimal synth direction...

for 90s Coldwave; industrial rock; I only really can think Chemlab

wtf... Coldwave is like... it's just quite synth based and bleepy, but really experimental - krautrock influenced sometimes... sort of like pre-techno
