The term "tumbado" in Spanish can mean "knocked down" or "laid back," and it refers to the slower, more relaxed rhythm that characterizes Corridos Tumbados. This subgenre often features electronic beats, auto-tuned vocals, and lyrics that focus on themes such as drug trafficking, love, and social issues.
