Patchanka is a music style named after the 1988 album Patchanka by Mano Negra.
It's characterized by a mixture of traditional music, punk, reggae, rock and other music styles and is closely related to mestizo. The name is closely related to the word "pachanga" a lingo word which means "party" in spanish.
