It's fun, helps me when studying. My brain keeps searching for novel patterns in the music and so the repitition with distortion is really soothing.

Wave phonk feels like lying wasted on a couch with some distant music. The words blur into nothingness, their meaning slipping through your grasp as you slowly fade away, dissolving into the infinite greatness of the universe.

Wish people could learn more about this genre, and at the very least learn that Brazilian funk isn't Phonk.
