Sad that there's a need for this tag. I actually don't mind emo nowadays. Years ago, I thought My Chemical Romance and others were emo. I guess not... well those bands actually suck. Real emo bands are actually quite good. I like real emo. Fake emo is garbage.

@name_waster I've already heard and it's my favorite album by them but I wouldn't say it's a real emo album. Definetely has real emo influences, but I see a difference right there. Anyway, it's a great album.

i hate how people are like emo CHANGED. IT DIDNT CHANGE!!! just some faggots abused the name. there are still as much active real emo bands(that play like in the beginnings of emotive hardcore) as there were back when everything started! it didnt turn into an other playing style!! I myself listen to some bands like My Chemical Romance, but I know they're not real emo, they may have some influences on real emo, but they definitely aren't. it's just a different genre.

I think bands that were called emo after the 00' parcially have an influence from the so called "midwest sound"... I mean many of these gay popcore bands listened Sunny Day and shit when they were younger... they even took the scream and the mid-paced music that belonged to classic emo... now one thing is certain here... these gay bands destroyed the essence of the emo sound... I hope screamo bands never get mainstream for they are under, DIY but avant-garde... and one more thing: FUCK CAPITALISM AND THE MUSIC INDUSTRY
