1. Scenecore is a term used to describe music that is associated with the scene subculture. It is an umbrella that includes pop punk, alternative rock, post-hardcore, bitcore, brostep, metalcore, chiptune, cybergrind, happy hardcore, crunkcore, deathcore, hyperpop, indie rock, nightcore and more.
2. Scenecore refers to a subgenre of hyperpop that draws inspiration from the scene subculture but is actually separate from true scene music and fashion. Fashion styles like 2020 alt are the most prominent in the scenecore community and the visuals often incorporate elements of glitchcore and animecore.
3. Metalcore and other hardcore punk subgenres associated with the scene subculture.
