Spookycore (also known as Gothcore) is defined by bands that have a harder, faster, and heavier pace than Horror Punk, Deathrock, and Gothic Rock. It is influenced by those said genres, and blended with Hardcore or Metalcore music structures like breakdowns, gang vocals, and chants.
