You're right at that, 30 minutes is not a lot in and of itself, but the point I'm trying to make is if he really needs to release an album every few "weeks" (at this rate). It makes his music have less overall value. Scarcity creates value. To be honest I'd take a half assed Boldy James album each year over a half assed Boldy James album every month.

but you're forgetting the average billy woods work is a lot stronger than the avg boldy james. Indiana Jones, Prisoner of Circumstance, Be that as it may, Mr Ten08 - are these good enough that it matters that woods has less albums? Shrines, Brass, Haram, Aethiopes, Church, Maps, WBDTS is arguably the strongest album run ever tbh

Yeah, very fair. I'm preferential to Boldy myself, but there's no denying the depth of subject & rhyming ability & album concepts that Woods lays down... It may not be as frequent, but from what I've listened to, there's a sense of meticulousness not found as often in Boldy's projects. He just has the crazy consistent output, although by his standards, you could argue it's slowed down this year lol
