Anyway, I was with my Trance DJ friends in a bar on Halloween and put on the Trance Night playlist, the bar just had a tablet with Spotify on - could play anything and we were the only ones in. It's starts with On Embers which is space heavy bass drums and industrial noise. In walks a dude in the full Nun outfit walking to us very slowly while this industrial noise in building over time. Turns out the bar maid knew him and he was there to scare him, the music i put on just added to the effect. Probably top 10 spooky music experiences

1 year later I still don't think Revanchist quite got its due. Excellent album, perfect for winter in London. I know they're completely different, but it does give me some Burial-esque vibes, that kind of dark city club feeling. Like, if Burial had released this album then I reckon people would have lost their shit over it.
