Just found Chiaroscuro mvt. 2 "Shadows" is related to Symphony No. 1 "Giulio's Song", Corigliano's most beautiful melody

@Epitymbidia just listening to him for the first time, and sure enough it's 'the red violin'. i'll check out 'altered states'.

his piano concerto is pretty good accessible yet forward thinking

he has a lot more music than all this, like violin concertos, clarinet concerto, piano concerto, even flute concerto, and a lot of more orchestral pieces.

Second Hallucination off of the Altered States OST is one of the most intense pieces of music ever created! Awesome!

Still no entry... but he's so great. Most of the people seem to only know his work for "The Red Violin" though, which truly is wonderful, but I higly also recommend "Altered States"...
