Really miss these guys, would have loved to have seen how they evolved. I try to keep up with all of Mary’s projects which she continues to knock out of the park every chance she gets, especially her performance on the latest Helion Prime album, but I still have hope that a second Luna album may happen someday 🙏. It’s been a joy to revisit "The Abscence" in recent times though, always takes me straight back to 2009 when Century Media’s "Maidens of Metal" Calendar was issued (never had the calendar, but images of the calendar were available on the web at the time) which featured Mary, Maria Brink, Alissa White-Gluz, Aya of UnSun, Cristina Scabbia to name a few. It helped me discover LM, The Agonist and UnSun, and had it not been for that I may never have discovered LM and UnSun to this day. Very grateful for that 🙂🤘

i bought this cd "The Absence" LIKE 3 years ago and it is still one of the best albums ive heard in a wile! and every time i play it for someone who has never heard of Luna Mortis they all say FUCKYEAH THESE GUYS FUKN ROCK!!

They broke up because century media did a shit job of promoting them. These guys could have been huge (for power/prog metal) but century fucked them over.

Too bad they separated :(, his last album was very good but lacks a little promotion, I hope that Mary Zimmer continue as a vocalist in another band...
