Does anyone out there have Viva Denizen? I listened to it a bunch of times years ago when it streamed on their Myspace page, and then it disappeared into obscurity.

Why does no one in America realize how amazing this band is and why does absolutely no one realize how much better The Wages Of Fear is than Contact! Contact!

@theneongreen The guy playing guitar/keys is Richard Peter Snapes and, although he is just a touring member, he is a wonderful man with a history of exciting facial hair.

In the bio above it states there are 4 of them and there certainly are in all the pictures. However, last couple of times I've seen them there've been five - is the guy playing keys/guitar just a touring member?

Sounded like a regression to me on the first few listens. Love it now though. Same thing happened with the new Rival Schools album.

patrick has a point to be fair, its an enjoyable album but its no contact contact, at times it sounds like a beefed up To My Boy rather than the urgent raw sounds from the debut. and there are some great songs that is however completely accurate.

Gave it another listen and I have to say it has grown on me an awful lot. I still think it's not as good as contact contact and there are a number of weak tracks which will never grow on me. I didn't actually like Edith too despite a lot of my friends loving it.

I'll give it another listen and get back to you about it, Just upon initial hearing of it it sounded like a complete regression in their music.

I, for one, would love to hear why Tell It To Thebes, Edith Wharton and My Wife's Grave Is In Paris are not good songs. Or indeed why any of them are not good songs, but those in particular would be good to focus on.
