Today is your 15th LASTFM ANNIVERSARY :-) ... Congrats, Douglas ! ... And you also have two nice milestones at this date: ">36k artists scrobbled" and soon half a million scrobbles! You are a music addict, as me ! ... How is the population coping with in your country to withstand the global pandemic ? ... Here in Germany, some stuff are missing in the supermarkets lately ( e.g. rice, noodles, milk, toilet papers... ) and this week they opened slowly more stores than the already open food stores. Let's see if it is a good idea... since I think it might rise the infection rate again.

just now seeing this. America is a place of contradiction. this is true is every aspect. I suspect this is true of any country as geographically large as we are. It is certainly true of China and Brazil. Russia and Canada perhaps have too much of their land borderline unlivable but I am fairly certain it is true of both of them as well. Of course, I say all of this having never visited any of those countries other than Canada.

I listen a lot of stuff on my label, blocsonic.com, but for A&R work I largely use bandcamp. This google/DDG search will get you the CC stuff there: site:bandcamp.com "some rights reserved" Then just add tags There is a ton of it of bandcamp. There are some netlabels in particular I listen to on bandcamp, but it's mostly just the search. It really depends on what kind of music you like, but Hypnotic Dirge is my favorite label other than mine. All of the stuff on blocSonic is CC, minus the 7in we just released which was two covers, so couldn't go CC with those. We've got some other stuff coming out that won't be CC for a variety of reasons, but as of the moment, anything you can download or stream from the site is CC. If you like metal, check out Open Metalcast. There are a ton of other sites though. I use https://github.com/web-scrobbler/web-scrobbler for my scrobbling. They are really receptive to adding new sites. Let me know if you have any additional questions

thank you for the answer. i didnt know you work for blocsonic. it is very good to find music and it scrobbles perfectly. It has also good links to other websites. I will check them by time. I am listening a lot to theradio.cc .I am not helping in this project, but the music is very much my taste. Unfortunately its not very active anymore.

www.blocsonic.com doesn't work for scrobbling yet, but https://github.com/web-scrobbler/web-scrobbler has a fix for that that should be coming out. http://blocsonic.com does scrobble. Jamendo and FMA both also scrobble with that add-on, but I had to file some bugs for some of those pages. I am not sure if they have been fixed yet. What type of music do you like?

the biggest thing is that I almost exclusively listen to Creative Commons music now. "All" of my scrobbles are. I have an echo dot I use sometimes, that doesn't scrobble. I should look into getting that to scrobble though.

well, my thought was that they weren't actually keeping this records from early days, but that doesn't make any sense. I guess maybe it could make sense, since I was working full-time in 2017 and most of that time I would have been scrobbling. I probably had music going less often the last time I was working full-time. Still, I don't scrobble as much on the weekends now. 32% seems like a lot. If I had just squeaked it out then that might make more sense. And, you'd think when I was listening to more punk I would have been listening to shorter songs. I don't know that there's a way to see each year. If there was, I'd be interested in taking a look
